Il primo autore proposto è Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) , uno scrittore, poeta, drammaturgo e filosofo indiano premiato con il Nobel nel 1913. Autore di meravigliosi versi scritti nel "suo" inglese, riuscì ad affascinare l'intero mondo occidentale.
